The service

Pargus is a desktop app with an optional account that syncs your vault between your computers. Free is free for as long as you use it. Pro is a paid subscription that lifts Free's limits, as the pricing page describes. These terms apply to both.

Your AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, Grok and others) run on your own computer under your own accounts with their providers, and their terms apply to them. Pargus does not resell or provide AI access.

Subscriptions and renewal

Pro is $10 a month or $96 a year. During early access a founding price of $60 a year may be offered; it stays at that price for as long as the subscription runs without a break.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price you are on, until you cancel. We email you before a yearly renewal. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on while your card is retried for up to two weeks; after that the subscription ends and the account goes back to Free.

If prices change, the new price applies only from your next renewal after we tell you, and never to a founding price.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Settings, Account in the app or from pargus.app/account. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. Going back to Free never deletes anything: Pargus keeps working on one computer, and limits apply to new things only.

Deleting your account cancels any subscription first, at once.

Refunds

If Pro is not for you, email support@pargus.app within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. After that, payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

Tax

Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. Where sales tax, VAT or a similar tax applies, it is added at checkout based on your billing address.

Your data and encryption

What you put in Pargus is yours. Your vault is end-to-end encrypted on your devices before it is synced, with a key protected by your passphrase and a recovery key. We cannot read it, and we cannot recover it: if you lose your passphrase, your recovery key and every device you are signed in on, your synced data is gone for good. Keep your recovery key somewhere safe.

Acceptable use

Do not use Pargus to break the law, to store or share material you have no right to, to attack or overload our servers or anybody else's, or to get around the plan limits by tampering with the service. Do not share an account between people; a Pro account is for one person, on every computer they use.

You are responsible for what your agents do on your computer with the access you give them.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we tell you first and give you the chance to export your data.

The service as it is

We work to keep Pargus running and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.

Changes

If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top, and we email paying customers about any change that affects them. Questions: support@pargus.app.
